Charlton V Blackpool at The Valley : Match Preview
Charlton will be without Billy Clarke for their Sky Bet League One match against Blackpool on Saturday.
The forward tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left leg against Blackburn and will be out of action for the remainder of the season.
Jake Forster-Caskey (thigh) is likely to be sidelined for the entire festive programme, while Tarique Fosu (hamstring), Patrick Bauer and Ahmed Kashi (both foot) remain unavailable.
Striker Leon Best is working his way back to full fitness and is pushing for a start against the Seasiders.
Blackpool are still without forwards Kyle Vassell and Mark Cullen because of hamstring injuries.
Manager Gary Bowyer expects the pair to be sidelined for another four or five weeks, forcing him to look at other options up front.
Those include winger Viv Solomon-Otabor, who again could be used in a forward role.
Defender Ollie Turton (dead leg) could again be absent while midfielder Jim McAlister (broken leg) is a long-term casualty.
